Celebrate the unveiling of 6th Street!

After two years of construction, the rebuilding of 6th Street is complete and the public is invited to help the 6th Street merchants celebrate. Everyone is invited to a Rededication and Time Capsule Ceremony which will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, November 6 in the Porters Parking Lot on the corner of 6th and College.

Following the ceremony, join the 6th Street merchants from 6-9 p.m. as they present a complimentary Cake Tasting event with wonderful desserts provided by Cheesecakes by Jewels (each store will offer samples of a different cake). Many merchants along 6th Street will also offer additional refreshments and $6 in-store specials. And, don't forget to pick up your special 6th Street $6 bill (available at participating merchants) which may be used for purchases made that evening. Remember to come early as quantities are limited.
