First Fridays in Downtown Racine
Downtown Racine’s popular First Fridays events will continue in November and December with fun filled evenings of shopping, dining, music and more from 5-8 p.m.
On Friday, November 6, guests to Downtown will have a chance to win a fabulous shopping spree with a prize package of gift certificates valued at over $1,000. Or, you may be one of five lucky winners to receive a $50 gift certificate good at any First Friday event sponsor. Improve your chances of wining by visiting as many merchants as you can!
Monument Square will host our Racine Firefighters, with fire trucks new & old, providing holiday fire prevention information and a chance for the kids to see these rigs up close.
Here are some other fun things planned in Downtown Racine for your enjoyment:
•Treat yourself to a horse drawn carriage ride which leaves from Monument Square
•The Fourcast will perform at Molly MaGruders
•Singer songwriter Katie LaFond will perform at Dimples Imports
•Art Metals Studio premiers their 3rd annual limited edition pendant
•The Funky Hannah’s gals will be doing holiday gift making demonstrations
•Visit the Racine Art Musuem and enjoy free admission to the museum and a gift shop sale
•Warm up at Hot Shop Glass with glass blowing demonstrations and a once a year studio seconds sale
•Bring a non-perishable food donation to DP Wigley/Hop To It and get a taste of the International Teach a Friend to Homebrew Day
•Macyn Taylor will perform at Northern Lights Gallery
And don't forget to join the merchants on 6th Street for their Rededication, Time Capsule Ceremony and Celebration.
This is free entertainment for the whole family, brought to you by the merchants of downtown Racine. Shop local…it makes a world of difference!
