'Soul of Morocco' Travelogue
KENOSHA — The Kenosha Public Museum’s 73rd Travelogue Season continues at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6, with Rick Ray’s “Soul of Morocco.” The free travelogue will be held in the Reuther High School auditorium, 913 57th St.
Experienced traveler Rick Ray will lead an adventure into the exotic depths of Morocco. Influenced by a plethora of western European and Mediterranean countries, this nation is anything but monotonous. Scour through the vibrant markets for aromatic teas, tapestries and tile mosaics. Next to the finest silk slippers you could find goatskin lamps and brass figures. Take a voyage through the sand and visit the time-honored Kasbahs and ancient palaces of the Sahara. Relax as the views of the Atlantic sink behind the bleached-walled buildings of Casablanca.
Doors open at 6:45 p.m. and seating is unreserved.
