KENOSHA - Mrs. Erika (nee: Gundlach) Nuernberg, 66, passed away at St. Mary's Medical Center in Racine on Thursday, December 24, 1998.
She was born in Ganse, West Germany on December 7, 1932. She moved from Fort Morgan, Colo. to Kenosha in 1956. In Kohlen, West Germany on April 9, 1951, she was united in marriage to Harold Nuernberg.
She attended schools in Germany. She was employed as a Produce Manager at Kohl's Food Store for 22 years, last working in 1988. She loved to cook and garden, especially vegetables and flowers, and operated a produce stand, which drew customers from as far away as Chicago, Ill. She was well-known for tending her crops in the ``Lower 4."
Surviving are her husband, Harold; daughter, Elke (Edward) Gramza; sons, Hans (Kathy) Nuernberg and Willi (Mary) Nuernberg, all of Kenosha; grandchildren, Sarah and Allison Supernaw, Kevin Nuernberg, Nicole Gramza and Edward Gramza IV, David and Brian Maseman, and Raymond Maseman; great-grandchild, Meghan Maseman; one sister in Germany; and one brother, Herbert Gundlach of Antigo and four brothers in Germany. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Rudolf Gundlach.
