Here's a list of some of the singles clubs in southeastern Wisconsin:

m Mile High Adventures

This three-year-old club, based in Milwaukee, offers more than 45 activities to its members each month. Activities range from rock climbing and roller hockey to introductory pottery and scrapbook classes. There are also dinners, dances, movie nights and more, with eight to 10 free activities each month.

Members join Mile High for one, two or four years. Membership costs between $25 and $65 a month depending on the package.

m Interfaith Singles

This 26-year-old club holds a dance every Sunday night, with a formal party at least once a month. Most dances are from 7 to 11 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 13249 Washington Ave.

Admission to each dance costs $3.25. There is no other membership fee. The dances are open to single adults of any religion, but most people are between 40 and 80 years old.

m Racine Area Singles

This 8-month-old club offers dozens of activities for its members each month, from Packer parties to New Year's Eve parties, trolley rides to karaoke. They also carpool to Catholic Singles dances every other week in Milwaukee.

The club is informal, with no religious or civic affiliations. It is open to all single adults. Most members are between 35 and 60 years old.

There is no membership fee, although the club does ask for $1 donations at its monthly meetings. Some activities do cost money, and a subscription to the club's monthly newsletter costs $5.

The next meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Jan. 14 at Mount Pleasant Lutheran Church, 1700 S. Green Bay Road.

m Singles Exclusive

This Milwaukee-based club offers dances every other Saturday. The dances draw 400 to 500 people from southeastern Wisconsin and northern Illinois.

Members are divorced, widowed or have never been married. They range in age from late 20s to late 70s.

Most dances feature live music. The next dance is at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 9 at the Pius Recreation Center, 135 N. 76th St. Admission is $5. There is no joining fee.
