Churches preaching about `green' lifestyles

RACINE - Several local Lutheran congregations are encouraging environmentally friendly practices in their churches and among their members, and now other congregations have a chance to learn about the program.
The Racine Green Congregation Program invites those interested in greening their faith communities to lean about how others are caring for creation and what steps to take. A presentation will be held on Saturday from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m., at Holy Communion Lutheran Church, 2000 W. Sixth St. (on the hill). For further information, contact Dave Rhoads at: drhoads@lstc.edu.
