By David Steinkraus

The Hoy Audubon Society and Pringle Nature Center are running two educational camps during the summer.

Children can discover what lives in our fields, forests, and ponds by becoming field detectives. Properly speaking, session 1 covers aquatic ecology, and session 2 covers terrestrial ecology.

The camps will run Tuesdays through Thursdays from 9 a.m. to noon. Each three-day camp session will cost $30.

Students who have completed fourth or fifth grades will have their first session from June 21-23 and the second from July 12-14. Students who have completed second or third grades have session 1 on June 28-39 and session 2 on July 19-21. Students who have completed Kindergarten or first grade have Session 1 from July 5-7 and session 2 from July 26-28.

Camps will be held at Pringle Nature Center, located in Bristol Woods County Park, 9800 160th Ave. in Bristol. To get there from Interstate 94, drive west 2 ½ miles on Highway C to Highway MB. Turn south and go ½ mile to Bristol Woods County Park.

The registration deadline is the day before each session.
