TOWN OF WHEATLAND — Fire departments from several Kenosha County fire departments were on the scene Wednesday night of a fire in a residence at 3910 348th Ave. (Highway KD).

The fire, reported at approximately 9 p.m., was in an area located just south of Highway 83, about four miles south of the Burlington City limits and just north of where tornadoes struck on Jan. 7.

The Kenosha County dispatcher said fire crews had cleared the scene by 10:30 p.m. No further information was available at press time.
