'The True Meaning of Christmas': Winners named in annual Knights of Columbus poster contest
RACINE — The Knights of Columbus Council 697 has announced the winners of its annual “True Meaning of Christmas” contest.
The St. Catherine’s High School Art Department and art students judged 430 posters made by students from nine parochial schools. Posters were judged on expression of the Christmas theme, originality and artistic quality. This year’s winners are:
First grade: Iris Flynn, St. Lucy School, first place; Christian Fleury, St. Edward School, second; and Megan Biggerstaff, St. Lucy, third.
Second grade: Tyler Schoff, St. Edward, first place; Elaina Milkie, St. Edward, second; and Andrew Coppage, St. Edward, third.

Fourth grade: Laura Ann Panthofer, St. Rita School, first place; Josh Allain, St. Edward, second; and Ali Kravig, Trinity Lutheran, third.
