Appointments and promotions: George Ulbrich has been promoted to supervisor of Kolb+Co. Technology Advisers, LLC. Ulbrich, a member of the firm since 2002, has more than 20 years of experience in technology, serving mainly the professional services industry. His areas of expertise include security, data center operations and management and project management.

LeAnne Foster, a resident of Burlington, is the new associate business analyst at Kolb+Co. SC. Foster has more than 20 years of experience providing consulting, management, accounting and tax services for clients in a wide array of businesses and industries.

Anniversaries: JL Accounting Systems this year marks its 25th anniversary. Owner and founder Jessie Larson opened her home-based business, at 6904 Butternut Road in the Crestview subdivision, in early 1984. It has remained at the same Caledonia location since its inception. JL Accounting provides personalized services in tax planning, tax preparation and accounting for all types of entities and individuals. In 1997, Larson added financial services to her practice.
