Appointments and promotions: Scott Bowser has been appointed regional vice president - Americas at Modine Manufacturing Co. He previously served as managing director for the company's Brazilian operations. Bowser, an 11-year Modine veteran, will oversee the company's North American and South American Original Equipment operations.

Honors and Awards: Dick Rudin, owner and operator of House of Gerhard in Kenosha, was recently named Restaurateur of the Year by the Wisconsin Restaurant Association. The industry's top honor was announced at the association's annual Awards Dinner, held at the Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee on March 10 in conjunction with the Wisconsin Restaurant Expo. Rudin and his wife, Angie, are former Racine-area residents, and he is a former longtime employee of SC Johnson. Rudin has five patents listed in his name and was the recipient of three SCJ Technical Merit awards and a Director's Award.
