Appointments and promotions: Amy Ashley of CRB Insurance has completed the licensing requirements as an agent for property and casualty insurance. Ashley joined CRB Insurance in July 2007 as a receptionist/bookkeeper, and is currently working with the bond department.

Certifications: Attorney Timothy Crawford has been Certified as an elder law attorney by The National Elder Law Foundation which is approved as the sole certifying organization for elder law attorneys by the American Bar Association.

Tina Sowinski, OTR/L, CLT, has completed an extensive training program for lymphedema management through the Academy of Lymphatic Studies. She is proficient in complete decongestive therapy, manual lymph drainage, multilayered bandaging, and fitting of compression garments. Lymphedema services and Occupational Therapy are now offered in Kenosha and Paddock Lake.

Honors and Awards: POPAI, the global association for marketing at retail, announced that Midland Container of Franksville earned the Gold Award in the semi-permanent category for tobacco for its Red Man counter display during the 50th annual awards event for the 2008 Outstanding Merchandising Achievement competition.

Johnson Financial Group Inc. was among 41 companies named by the Center for Companies That Care to its 2008 Honor Roll. Honor Roll recipients are selected for their strong commitment to elevating the quality of life for their employees and for people in the broader community as well as adhering to all 10 of the 10 Characteristics inherent to a "Company That Cares."

Elections: The Senate Economic Development Committee voted unanimously to confirm Gov. Doyle's appointment of Robert Henzl of Racine as a member of the Wisconsin Professional Baseball Park District Board.
