Appointments and promotions: Racine native Tom Ludwig has been selected to head the new Milwaukee area office of engineering firm Foth Infrastructure & Environment LLC. Ludwig joined Foth after serving as a municipal engineering consultant in southeast Wisconsin for more than 20 years.
Becky Veto of Union Grove has become an independent consultant with Tastefully Simple Inc., a national direct-sales company featuring easy-to-prepare gourmet products. As a consultant, she offers the company's gourmet foods and beverages to guests at home taste-testing parties where guests receive free samples, easy meal ideas, recipes and serving suggestions.
The Andis Co. announces three promotions: Matt Andis has been named executive vice president; Marcia Andis is now senior vice president, market development; and Laura Andis is senior vice president, finance.
Matt Andis has been with the company full time since 1995 and has held positions in several departments. Most recently, Matt Andis led the professional division as vice president, sales.
Marcia Andis joined the company in 1997 as graphics coordinator and has assumed steadily increasing responsibility in the marketing area. In 1999 she became marketing supervisor and three years later was promoted to marketing manager. Her most recent position, vice president, market development allowed her to coordinate marketing more closely with both operations and sales. In her new position, Marcia participates in new product development, monitors product sources and oversees the marketing services function.
Laura Andis joined the company in 2004 as operations accounting manager. Most recently, she was vice president, finance, responsible for planning, coordinating and analyzing accounting and treasury functions and for information systems and risk management. Her previous experience includes a position as an auditor for four years with PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Certifications: Clifton Gunderson LLP Certified Public Accountants and Consultants, announced that Cortnie Pfarr recently earned her Certified Public Accountant designation. Pfarr is a tax senior associate in the Racine office of Clifton Gunderson.
