Appointments and promotions: Derek Kilps recently joined the Image Management graphic design team at the JohnsonDiversey location in Sturtevant.

Dustin Brown began his career at Image Management working part-time as a production designer. After continued success, he was asked to join the company full-time in December 2007. His creative ambition and consistent work habits have reinforced his appointment as graphic designer for two of Image Management's largest accounts, CNH and JohnsonDiversey.

Terri Gray has been hired by the Greater Union Grove Area Chamber of Commerce to become executive director on Jan. 1 upon the retirement of Carol Knight. Gray started in September and is a member of Leadership Union Grove Class of 2009. Gray returned to the workforce with positions at the Medical College of Wisconsin, St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Muskego, and most recently at Burlington RV Superstore.

Modine Manufacturing Company has promoted Margaret Kelsey to the newly created position of vice president - corporate development, general counsel and secretary, effective Nov. 1.

Kelsey will retain her oversight of Modine's corporate strategy and business development activities, while adding the responsibilities of general counsel and secretary. Kelsey succeeds Dean Zakos, who announced his retirement in September. Her additional responsibilities include overseeing a wide variety of legal and regulatory matters and serving as liaison to Modine's board of directors and executive management on a range of corporate governance matters.

Joshua Pessin has joined the general surgery department at Wheaton Franciscan-All Saints hospital. Pessin received his medical degree from Rush University in Chicago and has completed a general surgery residency that includes vascular surgery training at Akron General Medical Center in Akron, Ohio. He is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Advance Trauma Life Support. He is a member of the American Medical Association. Andrea Valeri practices obstetrics/gynecology, and is the newest member of Wheaton Franciscan Medical Group's Women's Health Department in Racine. Valeri received her medical degree from the Creighton University School of Medicine, Omaha, Neb., and completed her residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin Affiliated Hospitals, Milwaukee. Sandy Kreeger and Bob Riggs are new sales associates at the Shorewest Realtors Burlington office, 911 Milwaukee Ave.

Honors and Awards: The Wisconsin Chapter of the American Planning Association has recognized the City of Racine, the Uptown Improvement Organization and the Racine County Economic Development Corp. for their efforts in implementing the Uptown Improvement Plan.
