Appointments and promotions: Rick Doerflinger has joined Rasch Construction & Engineering, 4715 Green Bay Road, Kenosha, as a project manager. Over the last 25 years Doerflinger has worked in the construction industry as a building products supplier and project manager of high-end residential and commercial products.
A&E Incorporated announced the following promotions:
Keith Gruber has been promoted to director of manufacturing, A&E Hand Tools. Gruber has been with the company since 1993, starting as a quality engineer. He was an integral part of obtaining ISO 9001 quality certification and A&E Hand Tools as well as A&E's subsidiary, Eckmann Custom Products. Gruber will be responsible for managing the daily operations at both A&E Hand Tools facilities, one here in Racine, and another factory in Kerrville, Texas.
Jason Horner has been promoted to the position of vice president sales, A&E Hand Tools. Horner joined A&E in 2000 as a national sales manager for Hazet North America. During his tenure he has also held the title of national sales manager. Horner's area of responsibility encompasses all A&E Hand Tools sales including private brand, corporate brand and export sales.
Max Knoell has been promoted to the position of sales manager. Knoell joined the company in 2003 in the accounting area as a financial analyst and then moved into the marketing department as a marketing analyst. In his position as a sales manager, Knoell will be responsible for maintaining and growing the corporate brand side of the business.
John Lang has been named director, marketing and R&D. Lang represents the fourth generation family member in the company, starting his full time employment in 2002 as a marketing analyst. During his employment, Lang has progressed through various positions within the sales and marketing areas. In his new position Lang will be responsible for the growth and development of new products and new markets in the Hand Tool line.
Linda Baer-Stockero has been promoted to the position of QA manager. Stockero started with the company in 1999 as a quality assurance specialist. She came to A&E from Textron (formerly Jacobsen Manufacturing), where she was the group leader in the quality assurance department. In her new position she will be responsible for maintaining quality standards for A&E and its customers.
Jennifer Dirksmeyer has been hired in the newly created position of sales account manager. She comes from Enterprise Fleet Management where she held the position of account manager. In her new position Dirksmeyer will focus on acting as a liaison between the marketing, customer service and inside sales departments to ensure cohesiveness and superior customer service.
Image Management announces the following new appointments:
Erica Vranak has been appointed senior graphic designer for Image Management at its JohnsonDiversey location in Sturtevant. Vranak currently manages the on-site graphic design team of four at JohnsonDiversey.
Chad Arents has been appointed office manager at Image Management. Arents began working with the Image Management team in May of 2003 as a graphic designer and digital asset library assistant. During his five year tenure he has assumed responsibilities for CD/DVD duplication department and project management and coordination of the CNH account.
Suzy Cruz has become an independent consultant with Tastefully Simple Inc., a national direct-sales company featuring easy-to-prepare gourmet products. As a consultant, Cruz offers the company's gourmet foods and beverages to guests at home taste-testing parties. Guests receive samples, easy meal ideas, recipes and serving suggestions.
