We have a Cruiser 5th wheel and the sheets on the bed are between a regular size and a queen size. I would like to know if anyone knows where I can buy the correct size without paying a fortune for them.
Didn't you already pay a fortune for the travel trailer? What are a few hundred bucks on sheets?
Check out http://www.quality-time.com It's the Web site for Quality-Time, a custom fit linen company in Wausau.
You may also call them at (800) 345-0438. The price of the linens will depend largely on size and thread count.
I live in the Rochester area. I see "TW" markings painted on the road throughout the area. Any idea what they are for?
Skip Scott, a senior gas systems operations analyst, told us We Energies Gas Operations division takes readings on the buried coated steel gas mains.
The "TW" stands for "Test Wire," and designates where the wires are located to accomplish the required testing. The paint allows those doing the test to find the test wires more efficiently.
I'm glad we heard from Skip. I don't want to say anything about the folks I talked to in Rochester; I'll just say I'm glad we heard from Skip.
Sheridan Woods Florist on Durand Avenue has on their marquee "Moving Sale." Are they leaving the area? If so, where are they going?
We're working on verifying an answer to this question. I thought about using it without verification, but that would be irresponsible.
What is the rule about parking near someone's driveway? How close can you be, or how much room do you need to leave?
According to Jerilyn Bradley of the American Professional Driving School at 1967 Taylor Ave. in Racine, the answer is 4 feet.
"A question in the GYA column concerning parking regulations near a residential driveway can be answered on page 25 of the Wisconsin Motorist Manual. It states you may not park within 4 feet of a driveway, alley or private road, or block the area of the curb removed or lowered for access to the sidewalk.
This allows the users of the driveway or alley to safely turn into or out of the area. It also allows the driver to see more clearly when leaving the area. If cars, trucks or large vans park too closely it blocks the view, making it more difficult to see if there is gap in traffic big enough to exit safely."

And on a side note the American Professional Driving School is still accepting old license plates. You may drop them off or call them at (262) 633-1234.

This is from Cynthia Koepcke, a district coordinator for AARP in Racine County.
A short while ago you mentioned you would publish public service/volunteer info. Please see below:
"The AARP Tax-Aide program is looking for volunteers who are looking for a challenge. Tax-Aide is an AARP/IRS sponsored free program for seniors of moderate to low income to help with the filing of their income taxes.
If you would like to help seniors prepare their income tax forms, the Tax-Aide Program has a free three-day training course in association with the IRS. You must be able to volunteer for four hours of counseling per week February through April 15th.
