Christina Mary Chiapete became the bride of Matthew Lee Russell May 3. The Rev. Bill Quigley officated during the 1 p.m. ceremony at St. Lucy Catholic Church. Jeff Rissi (bride's godfather), Rick Chiapete (bride's uncle), Susan Chiapete (bride's cousin) and Katie Hasselbrink were the readers.

Parents of the bride are Randy and Pat Chiapete of Racine. The bride is the granddaughter of the late Ernie and Mary Rossi, and the late William and Dorothy Chiapete.

The groom's parents are Bill and Susan Russell of Newton, Ill. Grandparents of the groom are Eugene and Alberta Ballew of Robinson, Ill., and Marion and Janie Russell of Grand Tower, Ill.

Maids of honor were Julie Gonzales and Katie Oldenburg, friends of the bride. Bridesmaids were Marie Rossi (bride's cousin), Valerie Rossi (bride's cousin), Lisa Chiapete (bride's sister-in-law), Karie Kirchenberg, Apryl Stark (groom's sister), Cheryl Russell (groom's sister), Christi Rebro, Emily Borgeldt and Tracy Anzalone. Flower girl was Grace Borgelt. The bride's personal attendant was Marissa Modory.

Best man was Dan Kirchenberg, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Dave Chiapete (bride's brother), Joe Chiapete (bride's brother), Daniel Stark (groom's brother-in-law), Ernie Rossi (bride's cousin), Nick Rossi (bride's cousin), Chad Davidson, Jon Hasselbrink and Dan Dahlke. Junior groomsman was Grant Stark, nephew of the groom. Ring bearer was Cameron Stark, nephew of the groom.

David Hotchkiss (bride's cousin) and Kirk Massie were the ushers.

Katherine Bach and Nicole Bach, bride's cousins, were the greeters. Anthony and Denise Rossi, uncle and aunt of bride, were the gift bearers.

The reception was held at Infusino's Banquet Hall. The couple honeymooned in Punta Cana.

They are living in Racine.
