'KEEP CHRIST IN CHRISTMAS' YARD SIGNS AND CAR MAGNETS ON SALE

Knights of Columbus Council 697 and 4th Degree Assembly 1207 in Racine is selling "Keep Christ in Christmas" yard signs and car magnets. The signs are blue and white with the "Keep Christ in Christmas" slogan and a nativity scene and cost $5. In addition, for the first time, the Knights are making available black and white car magnets. They are 6½ by 7 inches and feature a Nativity scene and the "Keep Christ in Christmas" slogan. They cost $3. ENTERTAINMENT BOOKS ON SALE

Holy Communion Lutheran Church, 2000 W. Sixth St., is selling the Entertainment Book for $35 and the Gold C Book for $10. These books offer two-for-one discount coupons for dining, entertainment and services. Books will be sold until Dec. 9, call Sue Cooper at (262) 886-6130. Profits are used by the church women for various charities.

PASTY SALE

Sponsored by the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 767, noon-3 p.m. Dec. 9, during the Green Bay Packers vs. Oakland Raiders football game until they're sold out at George's Tavern, 1201 N. Main St. Pasties cost $6 each, with a limit of eight per customer. The pasty is originally a Flemish dish brought over to northern Michigan by the early Welsh copper miners. The pasty consists of several root vegetables, onions, pork and beef in a pastry crust. They will be made by Yooper chef Steve Klinkhammer and his crew. Vegetarian pasties will be available on request. Phone orders for carryouts will be taken Dec. 3-7 by calling (262) 498-1294 (leave name, phone number and quantity of pasties). Proceeds from the sale will be donated to the Racine County Food Bank.

FUDGE SALE

Plymouth Congregational Church, 1143 College Ave., is selling its award-winning homemade chocolate fudge. The cost is $4 for a half-pound box (with or without nuts). Orders must be placed by Dec. 9 by calling the church at (262) 633-6039. Orders must be prepaid at the church from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday. Fudge orders must be picked up at the church on Dec. 16.

Cookie Walk and Third World Shoppe

Atonement Lutheran Church fellowship hall and downstairs youth room, 2915 Wright Ave., 9 a.m.-2 p.m. today. Cookies, bars and breads will be sold by the pound and in prepackaged assortments. The Third World Shoppe will feature unique items from elegant handcarved Russian Santas to musical instruments, children's toys, and woven goods from Central America, Africa and Asia. Every purchase made will help support the Fair Trade movement and help someone trying to make a living wage in a Third World country.

CHILI, CRAFTS AND BAKE SALE

Lutheran Chapel of the Cross, 1426 Highway H, 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. today. Admission is one canned good. The chili bar will be open from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and will feature a chili dog or bowl of chili served with a beverage and a homemade cookie. Lunch tickets cost $3.50.

All items are silver, sterling, gold or white gold (14, 18 & 24K gold-plated over surgical steel) or brass. All jewelry is hypo-allergenic, and earring posts are surgical steel or titanium. A Look on the Runway Fashion Show

A Shopping Bazaar will begin at 3 p.m., food is served at 5 p.m. and the fashion and hat show is at 6 p.m., with dancing to follow.
