Mr. and Mrs. Frank Suetholz of 2112 5½ Mile Road will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary today during a party at St. Agnes Church in Butler.
Suetholz and the former Barbara Whalley were married Nov. 21, 1959, at St. Ann’s Church in Milwaukee. Natives of the Milwaukee area, the couple moved to Racine in 1966.
Suetholz was employed by the Racine Unified School District as an instrumental music elementary teacher. He retired in June of 1998.
Suetholz is a member of the National Flute Association and enjoys music arranging and woodworking.
Mrs. Suetholz was employed as an elementary teacher by Milwaukee Public Schools, Racine Unified and as a homebound teacher until 1998. She is a member of the Delta Omicron Professor Music Sorority, the American Association of University Women and Daughters of the American Revolution. Her hobby is knitting.
The couple are members of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church the MacDowell Club of Milwaukee.
They have four children: Robert of Sao Paulo, Brazil; Edith Suetholz of Milwaukee; and William (Joan) and Carrie (Michael) Larsen of Menomonee Falls. The couple has six grandchildren.
