American Association of University Women – Racine

A craft fair starts at 5:30 p.m. and registration is at 6 p.m. Mary Lenard, associate professor of English at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, will present “Jane Austen Goes Hollywood.” Lenard is the composition director in the English Department and also co-directs the Center for Women’s and Gender Studies. Her book, “Preaching Pity: Dickens, Gaskell, and Sentimentalism in Victorian Culture,” was published in 1999.
