Military Personnel Stress Reduction Project
ACUPUNCTURE TREATMENTS: Free treatment for military personnel and veterans (and their families), to reduce stress and anxiety, improve sleep and help relieve post-combat stress and trauma. Treatments of five small needles placed in each ear last 20 to 40 minutes. All needles are pre-packaged, sterile and disposed of after use. Donations will be accepted to help fund supplies and support new Veterans Clinics opening nationwide as part of Acupuncturists Without Borders. Western Racine County Health Department
PREGNANCY PREVENTION AND STD CLINIC: Racine Community Health Center and Western Racine County Health Department offer low cost Pregnancy Prevention and Sexual Transmitted Disease Clinics. Clinics will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the second Monday of each month.
Pregnancy Prevention services will include an exam, pap smear, and written prescription for $90. STD testing will include an exam, lab work, and written prescription for $25. Cash, check, or insurances will be accepted. Pregnancy tests for residents of western Racine County will continue to be free. To schedule an exam or for more information, call (262) 763-4930.
