SHINGLES VACCINE: Shingles is a painful infection of the nerves and skin caused by the same virus that causes chicken pox in children. Avoiding undue stress and fatigue and having a shingles vaccine are good ways to decrease the risk of shingles. Join Aurora pharmacists Tom Bull and Mark Lewno as they share the latest information about shingles from 1 to 6 p.m. today. For people older than 60, the shingles vaccine will be available following the presentation. The cost of the vaccine is partially covered by Medicare Part D and some private insurances.
