BREAST-FEEDING BASICS: Taught by a board-certified lactation consultants, the class will cover the basics of breast-feeding including positions, making enough milk and how often to feed. Significant others are encouraged to attend. The expectant mother should register for this class while in the fifth or sixth month of pregnancy. Mothers should plan to attend during the seventh or eighth month of pregnancy to best retain what is learned. Bring a doll or a stuffed animal. 9 to

WINTER YOGA AND MEDITATION RETREAT: The public is invited to participate in a yoga and meditation retreat with certified master yoga teacher Pamela Grubb, founder of Mindful Yoga Studio. The morning session will feature the five Pranas, the vital energies of the body and the three bandhas or locks, to promote stability within the body while practicing pranayama, breathing practices and postures. The afternoon session will build upon the morning practice to include understanding the chakras or centers of spiritual energy, with postures and meditation. People should bring their yoga mat, props and a vegetarian dish (with recipe) to share for the potluck luncheon. There will be limited mats/props available. 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Feb. 7. Acupuncturists Without Borders
ACUPUNCTURE TREATMENTS: These free treatments for veterans and their families will help to reduce stress and anxiety, improve sleep and help relieve post-combat stress and trauma. Treatments of five small needles placed in each ear last 20-40 minutes. All needles are pre-packaged, sterile and disposed of after use. 5:30-7 p.m. Wednesdays. Donations will be accepted to help fund supplies and support new Veterans Clinics opening nationwide as part of Acupuncturists Without Borders. Immunizations Clinics
Children's vaccines include: chicken pox, diphtheria, hepatitis A, hepatitis B, Hib meningitis, HPV, measles, meningococcal, mumps, pertussis, pneumococcal, polio, rotavirus, rubella and tetanus. Resident fees: Administration fee is $5 per visit. Maximum charge of $20 for a resident family. Resident's fees will be waived in the event of financial difficulties. Non-resident fees: Administration fee is $10 per visit. Maximum charge $40 for a non-resident family. Adults: Tetanus, $5 resident, $10 non-resident; hepatitis B, $35 for resident, $45 others; and TB skin test (must call 24 hours in advance to schedule), $5 residents and $10 others. Caledonia/Mount Pleasant Health Department
IMMUNIZATIONS: Immunizations for children and adults are offered at regularly scheduled clinics. Fees are $10 for all Caledonia, Mount Pleasant, Sturtevant and North Bay residents; $15 for all non-residents. Fee is exempt for Badgercare and Medicaid patients.
Immunizations include varicella (Chicken Pox), DTaP, Td, polio, HIB, MMR and hepatitis B. Immunizations for adults include tetanus and hepatitis B. TB skin tests are offered by appointment only by calling (262) 835-6429. Clients must return to the health department 48-72 hours later for the test to be read. All clinics will be held at the Caledonia/Mount Pleasant Health department, 10005 Northwestern Ave. (second floor of the U.S. Bank building), Caledonia. The immunization schedule is:
- First Thursday of the month, 4-5 p.m.

- Third Thursday of the month, 10-11 a.m.
- Fourth Thursday of the month, 4-5:30 p.m.
