BURLINGTON - The Burlington Lyceum Club will host an Old Time Barn Dance Show at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18, at the Veterans Terrace in Echo Park, 588 Milwaukee Ave. (Highway 36). Doors open at 6:30 p.m. The program will be in the Patriot Center in the lower level. Use the entrance (under the canopy) on the east side of the building, which is handicapped-accessible. The KR Bluegrass Band and guest bassist Jeff Kramer will present an Old Time WBUU Barn Dance Show playing old time, gospel and bluegrass music. The KR Bluegrass Band members were regulars at weekly jams when a friendship was developed because of their mutual love of this type of music. Members of the band are Kathy Dahl, guitar and lead vocals; Rose Seeger, fiddle and harmonies; and Mike Greylak on his CloverLick banjo.
Jeff Kramer, who will join on bass for this performance, is the owner and builder of CloverLick banjos in Burlington.
There is no admission fee and refreshments will be served after the performance.
