Home burglarized while owner cuts grass
Racine police responded to a report of a burglary in the 1100 block of Ohio Street Monday afternoon.
Reports said a woman was cutting grass in the yard and when she came back in, she noticed a person go out the front door. Police said she didn't know whether the person was male or female.
Reports said a lock box from the bedroom that contained $1,000 in cash, a checkbook and other documents was missing.

Hundreds of CDs taken from car
About 800 CDs and two CD cases were taken from a car parked in the 1300 block of North Main Street Wednesday, according to Racine police.
Reports said a small window behind the passenger's side had been broken.

Theft from boat
Racine police responded to a report of a theft in the 400 block of Brookstone Drive Monday morning.
Reports said a green tackle box containing about $1,500 worth of fishing lures had been stolen between Friday and Saturday.
UNION GROVE
Church burglarized
Racine County sheriff's deputies responded to a report of a burglary at Union Grove Baptist Church, 417 15th Ave., Saturday afternoon.
Reports said a staff member noticed a file cabinet containing money had been pried open, and about $500 was missing.
Police thought the side utility door in the east side of the building was the possible entry point.

Items taken during a "passion party"
Racine County sheriff's deputies responded Saturday morning to a report of theft at a home in the 26000 block of Nordic Ridge Drive.
A 43-year-old woman who said she hosts "passion parties" said about $178 worth of products were stolen while she was hosting a party at the residence May 29. She said there were more than 25 people at the couples party and during the night, four items for sexual enhancement were taken.
Reports said the woman said she was "embarrassed" to file the complaint but wanted to recover her losses.
CALEDONIA
Dog bites child
Caledonia police responded to a report of an animal complaint at the 5800 block of Sunshine Lane Saturday afternoon.
Reports said the family was visiting the relatives when the relatives' dog got excited and bit a 6-year-old girl on the chin.
A ticket was issued to the owner for an expired dog license.
CALEDONIA
Gas stolen from vehicle
Caledonia police responded to a report of theft in the 3400 block of Killips Lane Saturday morning.
A woman reported 10 gallons of gas, worth about $30 to $35, were taken from her vehicle between midnight and 5 a.m. Saturday.
MOUNT PLEASANT
Police look for two robbers
Mount Pleasant police are searching for two robbers who held up three people in the 2100 block of Racine Street early Wednesday morning.
Reports said the victims were on the porch of residence, about to enter the home, when one of the robbery suspects approached them from behind. Police said he was armed with a handgun and demanded money from the victims.
After taking two wallets, the suspect with the gun fled with an accomplice who was waiting on the sidewalk, according to a police statement. No one was injured.
Both suspects are described as black men in their late teens to early 20s, about 5 feet 6 inches tall with thin builds and shaved heads. Both were wearing dark pants and black hooded sweatshirts at the time of the robbery.
