"The Morning Show" airs every weekday morning between 8:10 and 9 a.m. Following is a schedule of show topics for the coming week:
Monday - We speak with Stephen Braun, author of "Merchant of Death: Money, Guns, Planes, and the Man who Makes War Possible." The book chronicles the exploits of Viktor Bout, who is one of the busiest and most successful arms traders in the world, and has been for more than a decade. We also preview a PBS Wide Angle documentary.
Tuesday - The interview will be with Robyn Meredith, author of "The Elephant and the Dragon: The Rise of India and China and What it Means for All of Us."
Wednesday - We speak with professor Alan Vogt from the Social Work department at Carthage College about welfare reform and how it has played out in the lives of residents - especially here in Wisconsin.
Thursday - Gateway Technical College president Bryan Albrecht joins us, along with three people who will talk about technology - Debbie Davidson, excecutive director of GTC's Advanced Technology Centers, Kirby Anderson, Dean of Manufacturing and Engineering, and Pat Hoppe, Engineering Department Chair.
Friday - Therapist Amy Sprague Champeau returns to the program for a discussion on the importance of creativity and how creativity can and should be nurtured.
WGTD's Saturday programming includes "Financial Overview" at 9 a.m., "Breakfast Bytes" at 9:45 a.m., "Education Matters" at 10:30 a.m. and "Community Matters" at 11:15 a.m.
