A licensed practical nurse from Racine, Christal L. Schaut, has had her license suspended indefinitely by the Board of Nursing.
The Wisconsin Department of Regulation and Licensing announced the suspension Friday.
Schaut reportedly tested positive for cocaine, methadone and propoxyphene in June 2006, while she worked at the Brookside Care Center in Kenosha.
Schaut did not answer the formal complaint against her and did not appear at the disciplinary hearing held on the matter. An administrative law judge recommended the Board of Nursing suspend her license, which has been done.
