BURLINGTON - A furnace that started up after a power outage is being blamed as the possible source for a smoke scare Saturday morning at Love Inc., the Burlington based social services agency.

City fire crews were dispatched at 10:31 a.m. after employees smelled smoke in the front area of the building at 481 S. Pine St. No signs of fire were found.
