YORKVILLE - A man armed with a large rock robbed the Grandview Inn early Friday morning, according to Racine County sheriff's deputies.
Reports said the suspect went into the hotel at 910 S. Sylvania Ave. around 1:45 a.m. Friday and threatened the attendant with the rock. She dropped down to the floor, while the suspect took money from the register.
Deputies said the suspect took a few hundred dollars. He then fled from the hotel. It was unknown if he had a vehicle.
