Nine apartment units did not pay for cable service

A Time Warner Cable employee reported nine unpaid-for cable connections at an apartment building in the 2500 block of Jacato Drive Wednesday afternoon, Racine police said.

He noticed Tuesday someone had bent open the security box on the east side of the building and hooked up the cables without paying for service, reports said. He disconnected the connections but returned Wednesday to find them hooked up again.

Boyfriend tried to bite girlfriend's hand

Racine police responded to a report of an assault in the 2500 block of Jacato Drive Wednesday afternoon.

A woman said she had $65 in her left hand and her boyfriend, whom she wants to break up with, tried to bite her hand so she would release the money, reports said. There were small scrapes and teeth marks on her hand but the skin was not punctured.

Bricks thrown at vehicles

Mount Pleasant police responded to two reports of vehicles being vandalized between May 30 and 31 when someone threw bricks at them.

Reports said officers were called to the 6500 block of Mariner Drive just before 6 a.m. by the owner of a 2007 GMC Yukon. He told police he found the back window of his SUV broken out. The damage was estimated at $1,000.

At 6:45 a.m. police were called to another residence on the same block. The owner of a 2000 Buick LeSabre reported a brick had been thrown at the car, damaging the rear bumper, mirror and door. Reports said the damage was estimated at approximately $250.

Both vehicles had been parked on the street.

TOWN OF BURLINGTON

Car struck by BB

Town of Burlington police were called to the 8000 block of McHenry Street Tuesday for a report of a car damaged by a BB gun.

The owner of the car told officers she had noticed two circular dents on the driver's side of her vehicle the day before. Reports said she discussed the damage with a neighbor, who told her to report it to police.

The neighbor allegedly also told the woman kids in the neighborhood had recently been caught shooting BBs at another neighbor's vehicle.
