A Racine couple has waited a year to get paid for the damage caused to their Jeep Grand Cherokee caused by a City of Chicago snowplow.

So they shared their saga with the Chicago Tribune's consumer columnist Jon Yates, who writes the "What's Your Problem?" column - kind of a pumped up Glad You Asked.

Paul and Elizabeth Barr of Racine are asking for $625 from the city for the dent from its snowplow. Unfortunately, for the Barrs, the city's claim system is "mind numbingly slow," Yates writes.
Makes you wonder how Racine's claim system stacks up.
