RACINE - A new grant is available that will provide up to $250 for Douglas Avenue property landscaping.

The Landscape Grant was created to assist commercial property owners within the Douglas Avenue BID District by enhancing the appearance of their property through improved or additional landscaping, according to a Wednesday news release from the Racine County Economic Development Corporation. The Douglas Avenue Board will provide a total of $250 per building toward the purchase of permanent flowers and plantings along the front or side facades, according to the release.
