RACINE - No one was injured last night in a fire at 1340 Prospect Street believed to have been started by a child playing with a lighter.

The Racine Fire Department responded to call at 11:39 p.m. According to the department, the 6-year-old child ignited the mattress on his bed.

The damage, which was limited to the mattress and bed, is estimated to be $100. An adult and three children were at home during the time of the incident.
