BURLINGTON - Brittny Henderson of Burlington was crowned Miss Burlington Area ChocolateFest 2010 on Saturday. Henderson, a University of Wisconsin-Whitewater student, won the title as well as the top interview award and was named Miss Congeniality.

Henderson, daughter of Richard Henderson and Judy Hudson, both of Burlington, chose dating violence as her community service platform. Henderson is studying chemistry and math and hopes to become a pharmacist.

In addition to the title, Henderson won a $500 scholarship, a crown, flowers and the chance to represent the Burlington area at the Miss Wisconsin Pageant in June 2010.

First runner-up was Amanda Bigelow, daughter of Jay and Denise Bigelow of Burlington. She won the ad campaign. Bigelow, a nursing student at Gateway Technical College, won $100.
