Actors in Racine to stump for Obama

RACINE - Actors Kal Penn, Brandon Routh and Kerry Washington will stop in Racine today as part of the Wisconsin College Tour for Obama.

Penn, Routh and Washington will speak at 2:45 p.m. in the Racine Room at Gateway College, 901 Pershing Drive in Racine.

The trio will address the change Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., can bring to Washington, D.C. and the pivotal role young people are playing in the presidential election.

Admission is free.

Penn's film credits include roles in "National Lampoon's Van Wilder," and "The Namesake." He also appeared on the television shows "24" and "House." Brandon Routh starred in "Superman Returns." Kerry Washington starred in "Ray" and "The Last King of Scotland."
