DEDICATION OF JOHN BURNS THEATER AT PARK HIGH SCHOOL
RACINE - Park High School, 1901 12th St., would like to invite the Racine community to attend the John Burns Theater dedication ceremony which will be held in the theater at the school at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
Burns, a retired Racine Unified School District teacher, was an instrumental figure at Park High School for more than 30 years as a speech and drama teacher. Throughout his career, Burns taught numerous courses within the department including speech, drama and stagecraft as well as serving as department chair. He also created and developed curriculum for Radio and Television and advanced Television Production classes still being utilized today. In addition to his directorial accomplishments for the school's many plays, Burns gave numerous contributions to school life beyond the classroom and embodied the essence of the Park High School spirit.

PARK HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCES REGISTRATION, ORIENTATION DATES
RACINE - Park High School, 1901 12th St., would like to announce the following dates for incoming and current students of the school:
• Registration and schedule pickup will be from 1:30 to 8:30 p.m. Aug. 6 and from 8 a.m. to noon Aug. 7 in the old Boys' Gym.
• Freshmen parent orientation will begin at 6 p.m. Aug. 25 in the John Burns Theater.
Informational letters will also be sent to Park High School families this month with more in-depth information regarding these dates.
HEAD START PRESCHOOL ENROLLMENT TODAY
RACINE - The Racine/Kenosha Community Action Agency Head Start Program will hold free preschool enrollment from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. today.
Racine/Kenosha Community Action Agency Head Start program is a free pre-school for children ages 3-5. Four locations are available: 1032 Grand Ave., 1923 Green St., 1100 Main St., Union Grove, and 209 Wainwright, Burlington. The Racine/Kenosha Community Action Agency has begun accepting applications for the 2009-10 program year.

RACINE CHRISTIAN SCHOOL HOLDS REGISTRATION
RACINE - Racine Christian School encourages new families interested in registering for the 2009-10 school year to contact the school office now, as class sizes are limited. Registration packets and personal tours are available. Fall classes begin Sept. 8.
Racine Christian School provides Christian education to families from more than 40 different Christian churches. The school encompasses Kindergarten-8th grade on the campus at Ohio Street and Kinzie Avenue. Tuition is lower than many other private schools due to donations and endowments; parents also reduce tuition costs through the STAR parent involvement program.

WISCONSIN LUTHERAN SCHOOL HOLDS ENROLLMENT
RACINE - Wisconsin Lutheran School, celebrating 35 years of Christian education, is enrolling students for Preschool through grade eight for the 2009-10 school year. There are limited openings in some grade levels.
Kindergarten students participate in a four-hour program, with optional Afternoon Enrichment Preschool classes meet on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings for 4-year-olds, and Tuesday and Thursday mornings for 3-year-olds.
Wisconsin Lutheran School offers a high quality, Christ-centered education, as well as a broad selection of extracurricular academic and athletic opportunities. before- and after-school care is available, as well as an Extended Learning Program for those students who may need tutoring.
