ST. PETER'S, RAINBOW PRESCHOOL SET TO HOST OPEN HOUSE
WATERFORD - St. Peter's Lutheran School and Rainbow Preschool's open house will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday. St. Peter's Lutheran School and Rainbow Preschool is located at 145 S. Sixth St.
St. Peter's School and Rainbow Preschool will open their doors for the community to visit and find out more about the educational opportunities available at the school and preschool. Visitors will be able to take a tour of the facility, speak with teachers, visit the Scholastic Book Fair and stay for a snack.

OPEN ENROLLMENT AT RAYMOND SCHOOL
RAYMOND - Open enrollment student applications are now being accepted at Raymond School, 2659 S. 76th St.
The non-resident district will determine the available openings based on projected resident enrollment. Applicants will be chosen by lottery with siblings of current students given priority.
Parents may apply for open enrollment on-line at https://www.2.dpi.state.wi.us/Open EnrollApp
The online applications are preferred, but paper forms are available at any school. Raymond School will also have a computer station available for those who do not have access to a computer at home. Applications must be received by 4 p.m. Friday. Inaccurate or incomplete forms may result in denial of application. Parents will be notified of approval or denial by April 10.

MOTHER'S DAY OUT PRESCHOOL HOLDS OPEN HOUSE
RACINE - Mother's Day out, an extended day preschool/childcare center, located in the Evangelical United Methodist Church, 212 11th St., will hold an open house for the general public from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Friday.
Mother's Day Out, a childcare center and preschool, serves children ages 1 to Pre-K 5. The program operates Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays for children 1 to Pre-K 5. Children may be enrolled for one, two or three days, for the two semesters that run from September through May. The Pre-K class requires that children be enrolled for at least two days a week.

ST. SEBASTIAN SCHOOL HOSTS MARDI GRAS THEMED EVENT
STURTEVANT - St. Sebastian's School, 3030 95th St., will host a Mardi Gras-themed Casino Night from 5 to 11:30 p.m. Friday.
Games include poker, blackjack and roulette. Soda, beer or wine will be sold. There will be raffles and a silent auction. Admission is $3.
HYPNOTIST PERFORMS AT WATERFORD HIGH SCHOOL
WATERFORD - Hypnotist Jim Wand will perform at 7 p.m. Friday in the auditorium at Waterford High School, 100 Field Drive.
Wand, founder and owner of Wand Enterprises, The Hypnosis Agency, has been involved in the field of hypnosis for more than 20 years. He holds a doctor of philosophy in psychology.
Wand has worked with such personalities as Jay Leno, Chris Rock, Carrot Top, Larry the Cable Guy, Sylvester Stallone and George Strait. He has appeared on numerous television shows and is currently producing a hypnosis show in Las Vegas.
Tickets cost $10 and can be purchased at the door or in advance in Room 209 at the school. Wand's performance is hosted by the Waterford FFA.
CATHOLIC CENTRAL HIGH HOLDS SPRING FASHION SHOW
LAKE GENEVA - Burlington's Catholic Central High School will present its seventh annual Spring Fashion Show from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Hawks View Golf Club, 7377 Krueger Road.
Tickets cost $30 and include lunch, dessert, coffee and soda. Mimosas and fruit punch will be served during registration. Menu choices include pasta primavera, roast garlic beef tips or sunset chicken.
There will be door prizes and a fashion show for all ages. Clothing is provided by Anne Klein, Doodle Bugs, Burlington Menswear, Christy's Bridal, Jones New York, Maurice's and Wal-Mart. There will also be a raffle of more than 25 baskets.

BLACK HISTORY MONTH CELEBRATION
RACINE - A Black History Month celebration will begin at 2 p.m. Sunday in the theater at Horlick High School, 2119 Rapids Drive. The celebration features the Omo Orisha African Dance and Drumming Group, student and staff performances, singing, poetry and skit.
Dinner will be served in the cafeteria at 3 p.m. Cost is $3 for adults, $2 for students.

UNIFIED ANNOUNCES KINDERGARTEN ENROLLMENT
RACINE - The Racine Unified School District will hold 4- and 5-year-old kindergarten registration from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. March 4. Parents of children eligible for 4-year-old half-day kindergarten or 5-year-old full-day kindergarten in September are asked to register their children at their home school.
Anyone unable to register at that time may do so during normal school hours as soon as possible after March 4. To be eligible, children must have reached their 4th or 5th birthday on or before Sept. 1. To register a child, bring the child's birth certificate or baptismal record, the child's immunization record and proof of address such as a utility bill. It is not necessary for the child to be present at registration. Parents who have applied for school choice or magnet school lottery should still enroll at their home school.
Families need to enroll their student in their home school for 5-year-old kindergarten. If your student attended their home school for 4-year-old kindergarten, families do not need to re-enroll them for 5-year-old kindergarten. If your child attended a 4-year-old kindergarten program not at their home school, families need to register the student at their home school.

ST. CATHERINE'S HIGH SCHOOL DINNER THEATER
RACINE - St. Catherine's High School dinner theater and wine and cheese party will be followed by the production of "Les Miserables, School Edition" March 13-14. The theater and wine and cheese party will begin at 5:30 p.m. March 13 in the Alumni Building, 1220 Villa St. The dinner theater begins at 5:30 p.m. in Alumni Hall at St. Catherine's High School, 1200 Park Ave. "Les Miserables, School Edition" begins at 7 p.m. both evenings.
Cost for the dinner theater is $15 for adults; $12 for students (includes dinner and play). Reservation deadline is March 5. Tickets are available at the door for other performances, 7 p.m. March 12-13 and 2 p.m. March 15. Tickets are $6 for adults; $5 for students, senior citizens and staff; and $3 for children younger than 10.

NORTH CAPE SCHOOL KINDERGARTEN SCREENING
NORTH CAPE - Kindergarten screening for children in the North Cape School District who will be 5 years old before Sept. 1 will be held on March 16.
Screening appointments will take approximately 1-1½ hours. Those who do not plan on having their child attend North Cape School in the fall are asked to call the office to be taken off the list.
