HORLICK HIGH SCHOOL HIGH RENAISSANCE FEAST

RACINE - The Horlick High School 32nd annual Choir High Renaissance Feast (formerly known as the Madrigal Dinner) will be held Dec. 6-7 and 12-13 (sold out Dec. 13) at the Masonic Center, 1012 Main St.

The Dec. 7 matinee will begin at 4:30 p.m. Arrive between 4-4:15 p.m. to be seated in the second floor Parliament Room. An elevator is provided. Handicap parking is also available. On Dec. 6 and 12-13, arrive between 6-6:15 p.m.

Tickets are $35 per person which includes the viewing of an original student-penned drama, a concert of renaissance madrigals and orchestral music. Tickets may be purchased online at http://www.horlickchoirs.org or call (262) 619-4322 for more information. Attendees may also pre-order pewter mugs and a 2008 compact disc recording. Proceeds from the feast are reinvested in Madrigal costumes, instruments, music and decorations as well as funding for student scholarships.

ST. JOHN'S SCHOOL HOLDS FUNDRAISER

MOUNT PLEASANT - St. John's Lutheran School will hold a fundraiser from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday at Barnes & Noble Booksellers, 2710-A S. Green Bay Road. A portion of all sales, including cafe purchases, will be donated to St. John's Lutheran School for the library fund. At the time of purchase, mention that you are from St. John's Lutheran School or present the voucher and a percentage of the net sale will be donated to the school.

A portion of all sales made from 5 to 10 p.m. Monday at Culver's, 5801 21st St., will go toward the seventh-grade Washington, D.C., trip. Let them know that you are from St. John's Lutheran School or present the voucher when ordering.

RECRUITING REALITIES AT CASE HIGH SCHOOL

MOUNT PLEASANT - Case High School, 7345 Washington Ave., will host Recruiting Realities at 7 p.m. Monday. This educational program is for student-athletes and their families. The program will stress the value of academics in high school and college, NCAA guidelines and standards, the roll of the coach and athletic director and the reality of college recruiting. The featured speaker will be Jack Renkens, former coach and recruiter, national and educational speaker. Renkens will present an entertaining and information-packed presentation.

The event, sponsored by Case, Horlick and Park activities departments is free of charge. Attendees are asked to park in the North parking lot and enter through the door labeled Theatre.

CHRISTMAS WITH THE ANGELS AT ST. CATHERINE'S

RACINE - Christmas with the Angels for all kindergarten through third-graders will be held from 12:30 to 3 p.m. Dec. 13 at St. Catherine's High School, 1200 Park Ave.

Attendees will enjoy a light lunch, create Christmas crafts, decorate Christmas cookies and play some fun winter carnival games. Parents, why not use the day to get a few hours of Christmas shopping done. Registration ahead of time is necessary and can be done over the phone by contacting Kory Romel at (262) 632-2785, ext. 402. Cost is $5 and includes lunch, crafts, cookie decorating and games.
