'THE STORY OF THE NUTCRACKER' PRESENTED BY THE STUDIO OF CLASSICAL DANCE ARTS

RACINE - The Studio of Classical Dance Arts, a professional ballet school, presents its third annual production "The Story of the Nutcracker," a One Act Ballet at 1:30 and 5 p.m. Saturday and 1:30 p.m. Sunday in the Theatre at Park High School, 1901 12th St. Children and adults of all ages will enjoy this enchanting one-hour version of the beloved holiday classic. Hailing from Racine, Kenosha, Franksville, Pleasant Prairie, Burlington and Sturtevant, 46 students ages 6-17 will dance to the familiar strains of Tchaikovsky's most famous ballet.

Tickets are $8 for adults, $5 for children 12 and under. Tickets are available at The Studio during regular hours or at the theater on the day of the show. The Studio is located in the Westgate Mall. For more information, hours and directions, call Linda Bennett or Marc Darling at (262) 633-4450.

RACINE CHRISTIAN REGISTRATION FOR SECOND SEMESTER

RACINE - Racine Christian School, 912 Virvinia St., encourages new families interested in registering for second semester to call the school now. Spring semester classes begin Jan. 26, and registration is suggested by Jan. 9 to complete applications and reserve classroom space. Personal tours are available.

Racine Christian School provides excellence in Christian education to families from more than 40 different Christian churches in the Racine community. The school encompasses kindergarten through eighth grade on the campus at Ohio street and Kinzie Avenue. Tuition is lower than many other private schools due to donations and endowments; parents also reduce tuition costs through the STAR parent involvement program.
