RACINE - The Racine Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution sponsored the Good Citizens Program and Scholarship Contest in Racine, Manitowoc and Sheboygan counties. Awarded high school seniors were honored during April's Just Desserts meeting. The seniors were chosen for this award based upon their dependability, service, leadership and patriotism.
Racind County recipients are:
- Kimberly Andersen, daughter of Dennis and Colleen Andersen. Kimberly is graduating from Case High School and will attend the University of Iowa to study speech and hearing sciences.
- Karley Blake, daughter of Eric Blake. Karley is graduating from Waterford High School. She will attend the University of Wisconsin-Madison, pre-med.
- Duane Campbell, son of Salina Strong and Duane Campbell. Duane is graduating from Park High School and plans to attend Edgewood College in Madison to study education.
- Patrick Kelly, son of Michael and Jean Kelly, is graduating from Catholic Central High School. Patrick has not yet settled on a university but plans to major in philosophy. Patrick was the recipient of the Racine Chapter DAR Good Citizens Scholarship Contest.
- Amanda Soldner, daughter of Mark and Keleen Soldner. Amanda is graduating from The REAL School and plans to attend the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she will study history and education.
- Nicholas Stark, son of Denise Stark. Nicholas is graduating from Horlick High School. He will be attending the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh to study psychology.
- Hayley Townsend, daughter of James and Monica Townsend. Hayley is graduating from Walden III High School. She will attend the University of Rhode Island to study marine biology.
