Fall is in the air and it's time again for the craft fair season to begin. Welcome to The Journal Times' annual Arts and Crafts Fair Roundup. Whether it's festive holiday items, home decorations, purses, wood items or jewelry that you're looking for, you'll be sure to find it at one of the following area craft fairs:

OctoberFOUR SEASON CRAFT FAIR

Oct. 3-4 - 2837 5½ Mile Road, Caledonia, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Handcrafted items by 15 different artisans. Unique one-of-a kind designs, practical and whimsical home decor, festive holiday decorations.

CRAFT AND GIFT FAIR

Oct. 4 - Tremper High School, 8560 26th Ave., Kenosha, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Crafts, gifts, food and beverages.

FINE ART AND CRAFT FAIR

Oct. 4-5 - Wehmhoff Jucker Park, 416 E. Washington St., Burlington, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sat., 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Sun. Jewelry, paintings, pottery, wood, mixed media, children's art activities, live music. Sponsored by the Burlington Area Arts Council Inc.

HOLIDAY HARVEST CRAFT FAIR

Oct. 11 - Indian Trail Academy, 6800 60th St., Kenosha, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Crafts, food and children's crafts.

GIFFORD PTA ART AND CRAFT FAIR

Oct. 11 - Gifford Elementary School, 8332 Northwestern Ave., Franksville, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Variety of art and craft booths, bake sale and silent auction. More than 40 exhibitors, food and raffle. PTA sponsored fundraiser for the school.

HOBBY AND TALENT EXPO

Oct. 11 - Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, 2417 Drexel Ave., Racine, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Homemade and handcrafted items for sale, silent auction, demonstrations and performances also viewing of collections. A kids craft corner free of charge for children to create an item for themselves or for gift giving will be available. Pampered Chef will be on hand for attendees to try out and order product. Tastefully Simple will have a cash and carry booth. Stamping Up will hold make and take classes with a different occasion each hour.

CRAFT SHOW

Oct. 18 - Lighthouse Community Fellowship Church, 3205 Ninth St., Winthrop Harbor, Ill. 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Coffee, sweet rolls, lunch and bake sale.

HOLIDAY FAIR

Oct. 18 - Faith Lutheran Church Christian Service League, 8500 Durand Ave., Sturtevant. 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Attendees are asked to use the Concordia School entrance. Crafts, bakery, home canned goods, lunch, community crafters, silent auction, free coffee all day. Profits to go missions of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod.

CRAFT FAIR

Oct. 18 - Union Grove Elementary School, 1745 Milldrum St., Union Grove, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Quality, handcrafted items for the home, seasonal decorations, gifts and more. Bake sale and cash raffle. Free admission. Craft Fair sponsored by the PTO.

YORKVILLE CRAFT FAIR

Oct. 18 - Yorkville Elementary School, 18621 Washington Ave., Union Grove, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Pumpkins, gourds and corn stalks will be located outside for purchase. Inside crafters and vendors will display their wares, a huge raffle table filled with items to bid on, food and beverages and crafts and games.

A COMMUNITY AFFAIR

Oct. 18 - Menomonee Falls High School, W142 N8101 Merrimac Drive, Menomonee Falls, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. $4, no strollers. Featuring art, crafts, antiques and collectibles, raffle, lunch and silent auction.

HOLIDAY ARTISTS SHOWCASE AND SALE

Oct. 23 - 2904 Michigan Blvd., Racine, 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Unique handmade items by 29 local and regional artists. Sponsored by Chapter CF of P.E.O. benefits women's scholarships.

AMVETS POST 120 CRAFT SHOW

Oct. 26 - Memorial Hall upstairs main hall, 72 Seventh St., Racine, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Handcrafts and Christmas crafts.

LUTHERAN HIGH SCHOOL LADIES GUILD HARVEST FAIR

Nov. 1 - Racine Lutheran High School, 251 Luedtke Ave., Racine (handicap accessible), 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Handmade crafts, holiday decorations, jewelry, antiques and collectibles, toys, gift items, household helpers, freshly baked goods, caramel apples, home made candy, books, dolls, fresh fruit and vegetables, antique linens and several outside vendors. Buffet lunch of roast loin of pork, green beans, baked apples, pea salad, fruit salad, relishes, Italian bread, cranberry sauce, beverage and dessert, 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Lunch costs $9 for adults, $9.50 at the door; $5 for children ages 5-12; free children 4 and under. COOKIE WALK AND HARVEST BAZAAR

Nov. 1 - Christ Church United Methodist, 5109 Washington Ave., Racine, 9-11 a.m. Cookies are sold in tins for $7, $10 and $15. Craft items, mittens, jewelry, pickles, applesauce, jams, jellies and much more. Free admission.

BRADFORD PTSA CRAFT FAIR

Nov. 1 - Bradford High School, 3700 Washington Road, Kenosha, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

SUGAR PLUM DREAMS CRAFT & BAKE SALE

Nov. 6-8 - 33241 Oak Knoll Road, Rochester (Highway 20 west to Highway D, west to Oak Knoll Road), 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Thurs.-Fri.; 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Sat.

CRAFT SHOW

Nov. 6-8 - 1423 Wilmor St., Racine, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Novelty Christmas, Thanksgiving and patriotic items. Elegant fall wreaths, crochet and knits, afghans, baby afghans, Packer items, eyelash scarves, slippers, scarves, kitchen towels, dish clothes, decorative pillows, bird houses, tea pot cozy, tea cup carrier, stocking stuffers, plants and more.

CRAFTS AMONG FRIENDS

Nov. 7-8 - Emmaus Lutheran Church, 1925 Summit Ave., Racine (in the basement), 4-8 p.m. Fri.; 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Sat. Wide variety of crafts that will include handmade baskets, cement leaves, doggie treats, cards, scarves, purses, jackets, jewelry, photo art, and more. On Saturday there will be Stampin' Up demonstrators there with a variety of holiday cards for attendees to make for $1 each. Admission is free.

HEARTLAND CREATIVE ARTS AND CRAFT SHOW

Nov. 7-9 - Regency Mall, 5538 Durand Ave., Racine,10 a.m.-9 p.m. Fri.; 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Sat.; 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Sun.

CHRISTMAS CRAFT FAIR

Nov. 8 - Kenosha Senior Citizens Center, 2717 67th St., Kenosha, 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Beautiful crafts handmade by Kenosha's seniors. Bake sale and hot beef lunch available.

CRAFT AND BAKE SALE

Nov. 8 - 814 Hayes Ave., Racine (parishioner's home), 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Handmade gifts items, knit, crocheted, sewn items (baby through adult), jewelry and baked goods. Sponsored by First Evangelical Free Church.

HOLIDAY BAZAAR

Nov. 8 - Our Savior Lutheran Church, 217 S. Kane St., Burlington, 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Cookies by the pound, bake sale, holiday gifts, unique handcrafted items. Lunch will be served.

Fall Craft Fair and Bake Sale

Nov. 8 - All Saints Lutheran, 9131 S. Howell Ave., Oak Creek, 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. More than 51 tables of crafts, homemade baked goods, raffles, lunch, silent auction and children's corner.

CHRISTMAS AUCTION AND BAKE SALE FOR MISSIONS

Nov. 8 - First Church of God, 1650 Lathrop Ave., Racine, auction begins at 1 p.m.; doors open at 12:30 p.m. for purchase of baked goods and small gifts and for viewing of items to be auctioned. Items for auction include Christmas decorations, gifts for children and adults, crafts, gifts certificates and baskets, stocking stuffers. All proceeds support Racine's Harvest Outreach Food Bank, Homeless Assistance Leadership Organization, Racine's Lighthouse Recovery Ministries, Youth for Christ and various other local, national and international missions. Sponsored by Women of the Church of God.

VFW LADIES AUXILIARY FALL FAIR

Nov. 11 - Veterans Center, 820 Main St., Racine, 1-7 p.m. Handmade crafts, homemade bakery, raffles and rummage sale. All items donated by VFW Post 1391 Ladies Auxiliary and profits used to benefit veterans and their families.

HOME AND SCHOOL CRAFT FAIR

Nov. 15 - St. Mary Catholic Church, Bell Hall, 7400 39th Ave., Kenosha. 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Featuring bake sale, raffle and children's crafts.

FLOWERING FIELDS OPEN HOUSE

Nov. 15-16 - 11208 4¼ Mile Road, Raymond (take Highway 20 west to highway 45, go north on highway 45 approximately 4 miles to 4¼ Mile Road, go east on 4¼ Mile Road, long driveway on north side of road), 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Handcrafted tree ornaments and gifts, lighted trees and arrangements. Door prize.

CRAFT/VENDOR FAIR

Nov. 15 - Racine Christian School, 912 Virginia St., Racine, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Features handmade crafts, vendors such as candles, Tupperware, beauty aids, etc. Entertainment by local parochial school choirs. Admission is free. Bring a package of wet wipes or diapers to be entered in door prize drawings. Craft/vendor fair to benefit Care Net Family Resource Center.

HOLIDAY CRAFT/VENDOR FAIR

Nov. 15 - Zion Lutheran Church, 3805 Kinzie Ave., Racine, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Free admission. Floral, fabric bags, books, and totes, beaded jewelry. Vendors include Stampin Up, Party Lite Candles, Tastefully Simple, Lia Sophia, and L'Bri.

CHRISTMAS OPEN HOUSE AND CRAFT SALE

Nov. 21 - 3027 Washington Ave., Racine (Local 152 Meeting Hall), noon-7 p.m. Fri.; 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sat. Handwoven baskets, wood crafts, scarves, beaded jewelry, quilted items, towel and pot holders and door prizes.

HORLICK HOLIDAY FAIR

Nov. 22 - Horlick High School, 2119 Rapids Drive, Racine. 9 a.m.-4 p.m. $2, $1 senior citizens. More than 100 vendors featuring a variety of handcrafted items, antiques, collectibles, sports memorabilia and silent auction. Food and refreshments available.

CHRISTMAS IN THE COUNTRY CRAFT FAIR

Nov. 22 - Fox River School, 921 W. Main St., Waterford, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Admission $1, free children 12 and under. No strollers allowed. Jewelry making, basket weaving, quilting, ceramics, floral, homemade candles and homemade soaps. Bake sale and lunch available. Christmas raffle with $300 cash prize (tickets $1 each or six for $5 at the door). Proceeds go towards the FFA Alumni Scholarship Fund.

Holiday Bazaar

Nov. 22 - Kenosha YMCA Callahan Family Branch, 7101 53rd St., Kenosha, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Free, donations of non-perishable food items accepted for local shelters.

Harvest Art Fair

Nov. 22 - Woman's Club of Kenosha, 6028 Eighth Ave., Kenosha, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Refreshments and music.

HOLIDAY CRAFT AND GIFT SHOW

Nov. 28-30 - Wisconsin Exposition Center, Wisconsin State Fair Park, 8200 W. Greenfield Ave., West Allis, 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Fri., 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Sat., 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sun. Adults, $5; children ages 6-12, $2; children under age 6, free. Featuring pottery, sculpture, paintings, graphics, photography, needlework, woodcarving, folk art, leather craft, florals.

HOLIDAY FAIR AND BAKE SALE

Dec. 6 - St. John Nepomuk School, 1923 Green St., Racine, 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Enter from the parking lot in back of the school. Christmas items, dish towels, dish cloths, afghans, wooden items, quilts, raffles, assorted bakery, candy and caramel corn. A special raffle will be held with a basket that contains a pink cap and book "Don't Bet Against Me," personally signed by Deanna Favre, with other breast cancer awareness themed items in the basket. Tickets will be $2 each or three for $5.

CHRISTMAS COOKIE WALK AND THIRD WORLD CRAFT SALE

Dec. 6. - Atonement Lutheran Church, 2915 Wright Ave., Racine, 9 a.m.-2 p.m. (use rear parking lot door). Cookies, bars and confections will be sold by the pound, as well as prepackaged assortments. Home-crafted gift items and a selection of transfers and shirts for custom-pressed sweats and tees. Unique gifts from handcarved Russian Santas to musical instruments, children's toys, and woven goods from Central and South America, Africa, and Asia will be offered at the Third World Shop, whose proceeds support native artisans.

HOLIDAY GIFT AND CRAFT FAIR

Dec. 6 - Union Grove Union High School, 3433 S. Colony Ave., Union Grove, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Crafters, vendors and specialty booths. Holiday treats, hot chocolate or coffee, and warm comfort foods will be available. Make and take crafts, games to play, and take pictures with the elves. Christmas comes to Union Grove activities include Breakfast with Santa, a cookie walk, the tree lighting ceremony, and many sales at area stores.

Holiday Boutique and Bake Sale

Dec. 6 - Hawthorn Hollow Nature Sanctuary and Arboretum, 880 Green Bay Road, Somers, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Handcrafted wreaths, sprays and baked goods.

UW-PARKSIDE ARTS AND CRAFT FAIR

Dec. 6 - UW-Parkside Main Concourse and Main Place, 900 Wood Road, Somers, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Approximately 200 exhibitors from the Midwest and United States. Food available. Proceeds from booth fees go to scholarships.

COOKIE WALK AND CHRISTMAS FAIR

Dec. 7 - St. Edward's Catholic Church, 1425 Grove Ave., Racine, 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Christmas arts and crafts and a large selection of cookies available.
