The final weekend of team event resulted in one change at the top of the standings of the 99th annual Racine USBC Bowling Association City Tournament, but it wasn't in team event.
John Schroeder overtook Adam Pron in scratch all-events, shooting a 667 in team event to finish with 2,168, five pins ahead of Pron. Schroeder also shot 795 in doubles and 706 in singles.
Here are the rest of the winners:
DIVISION 1: R.K.W. Redi Mix won both the handicap and scratch team event titles with scores of 3,842 and 3,478, respectively. Eric Thoennes led the team with a 737 scratch series, followed by Gary Exner Jr. (719), Joe Thoennes (696), Chip Gehrke (674) and Scott Stratman (652).
Bill Lister (675 scratch) and Paul Herman (661) won Division 1 handicap doubles (1,576); Randy Sykes (735) and Billy Beckett III (670) won scratch doubles (1,405); Edwin Grabanski (753 scratch) won handicap singles (858); Rich Larsen won scratch singles (754); and Pron won handicap all-events (671 scratch team event, 741 in doubles, 751 in singles, 2,388 totals).
DIVISION 2: Just Bowl (Jeffrey Santos 588 scratch, Robert Dunham 587, Thomas Hopkins 565, Roger Higgenbottom 546, Sam Siso 452) won handicap team event (3,156); Racine Screen (David Farmer 712, Keith Beaudin 657, Tim Steinke 596, Michael McClure 561, Paul Erickson 531) won scratch team event (3,057); Allan Fritchen (659 scratch) and Jack Launderville (603) won handicap doubles (1,270) and scratch doubles (1,262); Gary Gemmel won handicap singles (723) and scratch singles (705); and Marcus Ludwig (633 team event, 711 doubles, 685 singles) won handicap all-events (2,059) and scratch all-events (2,029)

WSBA STATE TOURNAMENT: Al Zeitz Jr. remained the top Racine County individual entry after the eighth weekend of the 107th annual Wisconsin State Bowling Association State Tournament being held in the Green Bay area.
Zeitz, who rolled a 300 game two weeks ago, dropped to second in scratch singles with 759.
Other entries in the top five are Towne & Country Lanes #1 of Burlington, first in team all-events (9,777), first in scratch team event (3,460) and fourth in handicap team event (3,460); Union Grove Piggly Wiggly, first in Division 2 team event (3,101); TBG's II of Racine, second in team all-events (9,692) and third in scratch team event (3,315); Robert Schoenfuss of Union Grove and Chris Webb of Franksville, second in Divison 1 scratch doubles (1,475) and third in Division 1 handicap doubles (1,510); Central Saw of Racine, fifth in team all-events (9,535); Webb, fifth in scratch all-events (2,066); and Tom Hansen of Burlington, fifth in Division 3 handicap all-events (1,804).

WWBA STATE TOURNAMENT: After the sixth weekend of the Wisconsin Women's Bowling Association State Tournament in Milwaukee, there was one new leader from Racine County.
Gail Gentz of Racine shot 835 to take the lead in Division 2 handicap singles, 12 pins ahead of previous leader Beverlee Huset of Chetek.
No other county entries are among the top five.

USBC OPEN CHAMPIONSHIPS: At the United States Bowling Congress Open Championships in Las Vegas, the Central Saw team from Racine had a nice performance last week.
The team of Joe Crocco (650), Scott Salinas (630), Eric Mertins (593), Dustin Vasey (509) and Mike Vasey (659) shot 3,041 and is eighth in Regular team event. Mike Vasey is also 35th in Regular all-events (659 team, 619 doubles, 659 singles) at 1,937.
Todd Hoover of Racine, a member of the Sports of All Sorts II team, shot 712 in Regular singles and is 27th.
No other county bowlers are among the top 50.
