Former Case High School and Carthage College standout Stacey Kiefer (nee: Klepel) placed third overall and won the 30-34 age group Sunday at the Trek Triathlon in Pleasant Prairie.

Kiefer, who lives in Antioch, Ill., completed the triathlon (half-mile swim, 12-mile bike, 3.1-mile run) in 1:05:47.

Lauren Jensen of Muskego won the triathlon in 1:01:42.

The Pleasant Prairie event was the third of eight events in the 2009 Trek Women's Series.
