The Carthage College baseball team, off to an 18-0 start this season, moved up one spot from third to second in the April 8 D3baseball.com poll. Chapman University (23-2) received 20 first-place votes and was ranked first. Carthage, which received two first-place votes, was second and was followed by the College of Wooster (25-3), the College of New Jersey (19-2), the State University of New York-Cortland (15-3) and Salisbury University (26-1).
