The Lakeshore Thunder varsity girls volleyball team finished its season on a high note by winning the eight-team Home School Tournament Saturday at Centre Court in Waukesha.

The Thunder (18-14 matches, 50-37 games) went 3-3 in pool play and advanced to the championship, where they beat the defending champion SWCHA Saints 27-25, 18-25, 15-12.

Maggie Stalker had 20 kills, Sophia Gianou had 19 assists and Abby Menako had 29 digs to lead the Thunder.
